Philip Carr

Philip trained in the Person Centered Approach and also developed his practice through somatic experiencing and mindfulness training, Philip works within the education system, working with children between the ages of 6 to 11, Philip also works with vulnerable adults within a residential setting, working with long standing mental health issues and symptoms , such as addiction, anti-social behaviour, domestic violence, anxiety, depression and a wide range of connection issues that cause people great distress. Philip works in private practice and his focus is on developmental trauma, working in a mindful body oriented way, Philip works with a persons natural capacity to heal and his work involves addressing both the thinking patterns that can develop in response to ongoing developmental trauma and the nervous system dis-regulation that causes so many physical and emotional symptoms.
